One install for a town that takes December seriously
With permanent lights, you can schedule your Christmas look ahead of time to start with the Toyland Parade and run through New Year's. After that the house goes back to warm white for the rest of the year. Nothing comes down in January, and nobody goes up a ladder next November.
Older homes near downtown, newer ones at the edges
We check the fascia boards on an older home before mounting anything, because the track can only be as solid as the wood behind it. Newer stucco homes sometimes have stucco-wrapped eaves, which need a different attachment.
How each one works: how mounting works on tile, stucco and gutters.
