Bluffs, wetlands and beach
Playa del Rey is a City of Los Angeles neighborhood. Homes on its bluffs look out over the Ballona Wetlands Ecological Reserve and Playa Vista, and the beach streets below run toward Del Rey Lagoon and Dockweiler State Beach. The LAX flight path passes just to the south.
Exposure
Bluff-top homes take the ocean wind directly, and beach streets get salt air every day. Both affect the mounting plan.
